Hydroid Hires New Engineers

Hydroid, Inc. announced the addition of two new faculty.

 

Steve Brodet has joined Hydroid, Inc., a Pocasset-based, manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), as an Applications Engineer. Brodet brings more than eight years’ experience as a Physical Scientist, Project Manager and Technical Lead for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) at the Coast Survey Development Laboratory where he worked to evaluate and transition emerging technologies into their hydrographic survey fleet. The testing included sonars, buoys, data processing and AUVs. Brodet holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Studies from Maine Maritime Academy.

Janis Delmonte has joined Hydroid as a Software Engineer. Delmonte has worked in the computer industry for nearly 30 years, developing both hardware and software for systems from minicomputers to servers. Most recently, she spent 17 years with Hewlett-Packard where she wrote design verification tools, developed software simulation models and embedded management software. Delmonte has Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, and an Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
