Greg Trauthwein has a 20+ year career serving the informational needs of the global maritime, offshore, subsea and energy sectors. He has been the editor and associate publisher of Maritime Reporter & Engineering News (MR) since 1992. In addition, he has overall responsibility for the editorial content and production of a family of world leading titles, including Maritime Reporter, MarineNews, Marine Technology Reporter & Maritime Professional in print; MarineLink.com; MaritimeProfessional.com, MaritimePropulsion.com and MarineElectronics.com, among others, online.

I have over 30 years experience in several media formats having spent 20+ years in the newspaper industry. I have spent over 25 years as a National Account manager utilizing a consultative approach and a thorough knowledge of marketing and advertising. I am well versed in both print and digital platforms and use my expertise to enhance programs for my clients. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts dual major in Marketing and Management from Stetson University

Frank Covella joined New Wave Media in 2012, bringing more than 20 years of experience in sales and management across multiple industries. Known for his consultative approach, Frank works closely with clients to understand their objectives and develop advertising strategies that deliver measurable results. Frank has deep knowledge of the maritime and offshore markets, combined with strong communication skills, ensures that every campaign is designed for maximum impact.

Mike joined New Wave Media in August, of 2010 and has over 15 years of business management and consulting experience. Mike’s outgoing personality paired with his ability to evaluate each and every client needs makes him a asset to our clients and has allowed him to build strong relationships within the maritime industry. Mike is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and also a Minor in Business Management.

Gary Lewis joined New Wave Media in 2021 with over 30 years of sales, marketing, and management expertise across all forms of traditional and digital media in both local and corporate settings. This breadth of experience allows him to apply incisive understanding based upon a full assessment of client situations, needs, and opportunities to any marketing challenge both efficiently and effectively

I have worked with thousands of clients in nearly every category of business from national automotive, major accounts, real estate developers, local automotive and Maritime Shipping to Giant National Advertising Agencies representing Multi-National Conglomerates. My success stems from my ability to learn about my client’s customers, business and marketing needs in order to design effective campaigns to help them reach their goals.
