Emsys Maritime Ltd (UK) has appointed Tim Holt in the capacity of Marine Service Manager.

Holt joins the company with a background in the design, installation and maintenance and support of maritime emissions monitoring technology, having held senior positions with various organizations specializing in maritime- and land-based emissions measurement applications.

Originally trained as an aircraft electrical and avionics technician in the Royal Air Force, Holt’s expertise has taken him on a global journey working on aircraft such as Harrier Jump Jets, Jaguar Attack Jets and more latterly the A340 and A380 passenger aircraft whilst working at AIRBUS.

His new role will be to spearhead the expansion of Emsys Maritime’s Spares and Service Department. Based at their manufacturing facility in Derbyshire, UK, the company is growing rapidly to support the large installed base of Emsys systems and the predicted strong growth in new marine emissions monitoring installations.
