Xin Lian has joined BIRNS, Inc. as Manufacturing Engineer.

BIRNS, an ISO 9001:2008 certified designed and manufactured lights, connectors, penetrators and custom cable assemblies, said Lian’s hiring is in line with the expansion of its Engineering and Production Departments.

In her new role, Lian will be responsible for writing detailed work instructions, operation procedures and job travelers for all BIRNS production operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role will include collaboration with the company’s Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality leadership to plan, direct and streamline production.

“Ms. Lian’s background and expertise are a good match for our ongoing strategic efforts to expand our market share and improve our internal processes in accordance with our ISO and other Quality certifications,” said Eric Birns, company President and CEO.
