Akmar Attends Career Day at Istanbul Technical University

The 19th Annual Career Days organized by Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty Career Club hosted Akmar Shipping on November 17.

Akmar Shipping was represented by Personnel Manager Özge Ataman and Operation Manager Tarık Gürsoy. Ataman and Gürsoy began by introducing the company, which was established 37 years ago and has its most developed agency at Bosporus, Turkey. Ataman spoke about the company’s recruitment procedure for officers and cadets, also discussing on-ship possibilities. After a Q&A sesion with the students, Akmar’s representatives advised that student should establish a career path during the college years.

After the conference, students joined the company representatives for a cocktail party, where they learned more about Akmar Shipping.
