Leading ergonomic marine seating manufacturer STIDD Systems, Inc. and Ultrafabrics LLC, manufacturer of eco-friendly Fusion fabric, introduced the first helm seats covered in Fusion at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Soft but durable, water-repellent, antimicrobial and stain-resistant Fusion contains no plasticizers, heavy metals or stabilizers and is free of VOCs, POPs, HFRs and formaldehyde. Most spills clean up easily with mild soap and water – no harsh cleaners or chemicals are needed. The fabric manufacturing process captures 99% of the solvents used in production.

“STIDD and Ultrafabrics have partnered for many years with our Ultraleather product line. With the introduction of our new Fusion fabric into the marine market, we are pleased to be able to extend our relationship with the preeminent manufacturer of marine seating,” said Danielle O’Kane, Specialty Markets Sales Manager for Ultrafabrics, LLC.

Fusion-covered marine seat fabrics from STIDD are available in 16 matte colors and 6 stylish tinted neutral tones inspired by the worlds of fashion, graphics and contemporary art. Also available as roll stock for settees, banquettes, and headliners.
