Los Angeles longshore attorney launches first free, custom mobile app for longshore workers.

The Law Offices of Charles D. Naylor, developed the app to meet the needs of longshore workers. It is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Development for Android is currently underway and will soon be available on Google Play.

The Longshore Injury Hotline free mobile app provides the following custom-built features:
    •        Time Tracker
    •        Injury and Accident Reporting
    •        Naylor Law Resources
    •        Click to Call and Email

“Our intention was to create a mobile app that is truly a useful and helpful tool for the longshore community,” said Los Angeles Longshore Attorney, Charles D. Naylor. “We accomplished this by meeting with longshore workers, clerks and foremen to find out what issues they are facing and how our mobile app could provide a meaningful solution.”

Time Tracker
:
Longshore and harbor workers have a very real need to track their time in a very specific way, and until now, the only solution has been to track their time in paper books that can be easily lost or damaged. The Longshore Injury Hotline mobile app provides the first 100 percent free solution. The custom-built Time Tracker allows Longshore workers to quickly enter their time and always know their hours, and creates a secure digital backup so workers will never have to worry about losing their time books.
Injury & Accident Reporting:
This feature allows injured longshore and harbor workers to quickly document the details of any accident or injury sustained on the while working on the waterfront, including capturing photos and videos, and collecting witness information.
Naylor Law Resources:
The section of the mobile app provides Longshoremen with information about their rights under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA), including videos about the Longshore Act, FAQs and more.
Click to Call and Email:
In just one click, injured workers can contact the Longshore Injury Hotline and ask any questions about their rights under the Longshore Act, questions about a recent or old injury, or for local doctor referrals.
