Exova Appoints Global Corrosion Development Role

Exova has appointed Stuart Bond as global business development manager, corrosion. Bond brings over 26 years’ experience in consultancy and industrial applied research, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Exova, Bond  spent over 21 years with TWI Ltd., where he held  a number of key technical and business development positions, most recently as manager of the company’s Materials Performance and Ferrous Alloys Section.

Bond is a professional member of the Institute of Corrosion, and sits on the European Federation of Corrosion Working Party 13. As a Senior Corrosion Technologist of NACE International, he also actively participates on a number on NACE committees, and recently took over the post of Vice Chair of NACE STG32, a two year post prior to two years as Chair.

Dr. Chris Fowler, Group Technical Director for Corrosion at Exova, said: “Bond combines a strong knowledge of corrosion technology with commercial acumen and a proven track record in business growth. He will play a key role in identifying and developing new market and customer opportunities for our corrosion facilities worldwide.”

Bond will work closely with specialist teams at the Exova Corrosion Center in Dudley and teams in Exova’s corrosion laboratories throughout the world.
