DA-DESK Joins BIMCO

March 19, 2015

DA-Desk has announced that they have joined BIMCO  as Associate Member. As a member of BIMCO, DA-Desk is now part of a community of more than 2,300 global members from the maritime shipping industry, which includes ship owners, operators, managers, brokers and agents.

As an Associate Member of BIMCO, DA-Desk will benefit from worldwide networking opportunities, have constant access to business-critical information and expert advice, and receive top-level representation to policy makers and regulators worldwide.

DA-Desk Managing Director Hans-Christian Mordhorst explains why the company joined BIMCO: “Becoming a member of BIMCO carries many obvious benefits for DA-Desk. It is a well-respected organization that offers a multitude of top quality services and activities available for its members.”

“Equally important, we are very excited about joining an organization whose mission is to promote fair business practices, free trade and access to markets. This mission is fully shared by DA-Desk – in everything we do, we aim to increase transparency and raise standards together with all stakeholders in the maritime industry. We look forward to being an active participating member of the formidable community of BIMCO members.” Mordhorst concluded.
