David Zacharias, the Supervisor of Apprenticeship for American Maritime Holdings (AMH), has earned a Master Trainer certificate and also an Administrator certificate from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). As a Master Trainer he can instruct and certify craft instructors. As an Administrator he can train coordinators and proctors through the National Craft Assessment and Certifications program. Both certifications are part of the NCCER's goals to provide a safe, productive, and sustainable workforce of craft professionals.

"Having a NCCER Master Trainer and Administrator as part of AMH's workforce development effort is paramount to expanding our program as part of the National Maritime Education Council's effort to modularize the ship building and repair craft professional's curricula," said Mike Torrech, CEO of AMH and Chairman of the NMEC.
