September 9, 2009

WESMAR will be rolling out their complete line of Bow and Stern Thrusters, Roll Fin Stabilizers, APU systems, navigational and fish finding sonar at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show October 29 – November 2. Included will be new high speed digital controllers for the Roll Fin Stabilizers.

Included in the booth will be new digital controls that expand the interfaces of the WESMAR stabilizers with onboard displays, improve fuel efficiencies on high-speed boats, add to seamless fin alignment abilities, improve stabilization by expanding gyro sampling, display pressure rate, and much more. They are also offered as an option to existing WESMAR and other stabilizer fins.

Of significant interest will also be WESMAR’s expanding line of commercial thrusters from 150 to 499 horsepower, including a new 48-inch model and operating sonars for navigation and sport fishing.

“Come see a live demonstration at our Booth 425,” says Bob Sentz, Vice President of WESMAR’s Mechanical Division. “We have customers who have saved $500 a day in fuel. A British Columbia Ferry operator who says he saves fuel and minimizes roll thanks to the WESMAR systems and their profits hold steady because they stay on schedule.
