Thailand to LA Container Shipment Service

January 20, 2013

Yusen Logistics' new service from Thailand to Los Angeles features weekly departures as they expand in the LCL and Full Container Load (FCL) market.

The service features weekly departures from Laem Chabang, Thailand every Sunday to arrive in Los Angeles 17 days later. Supported by their strong domestic US transportation network and Inland Point Intermodal (IPI) service, Yusen Logistics is able to deliver shipments to all major inland destinations in the US.

“Over the past six months we have grown our LCL product in direct response to our customer’s requests,” said Joseph Goldman, Director of Operations at Yusen Logistics. “We have expanded into Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam, and are seeing a really positive market response. We think our network and service quality has been a differentiator here, and we are looking to continually grow the program.”

Over the past six months, Yusen Logistics has strengthened its product offering in the LCL market by expanding their service offerings from Asia. In addition to Thailand, Yusen Logistics operates an extensive LCL network departing from multiple trans-pacific origin countries including Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and China. All of Yusen Logistics’ services are supported by full track-and-trace visibility, giving complete control over the flow of imports. The services also integrate with Yusen Logistics’ origin consolidation program and customs brokerage services.
