Marine and underwater LED lighting provider OceanLED has anounced two new staff appointments to its global leadership team: sales, product, business and organizational expert Charlie Stuart joins the company as Global Managing Director, and Lindsay Shapiro joins as the new Marketing Manager. 

A seasoned leader with expertise in design, sales, operational change and process management, Stuart is responsible for implementing new business and operational processes, while also overseeing the product development lifecycle and new product launches, driving new global marketing, sales, and new business initiatives, and managing the company’s employees and all related Human Resources programs. Stuart was formerly the General Manager of the Light Corporation, where he oversaw operations, business planning/strategy and new ventures. Charlie also recently completed his Executive MBA.

Shapiro’s career in marketing, market research, social media and brand development has launched major luxury lifestyle brands on a worldwide scale over the last decade. She is a firm believer in 360 partnerships and is known as a connector and influencer, emphasizing that strong relationships and a strategic open mind to change are key factors to a brand’s success. She serves on committees and Boards for over a dozen different charities including the American Red Cross, the American Lung Association, and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Shapiro is primarily responsible for marketing, public relations, media relations, social media and events in the U.S., while also working closely with global marketing initiatives.
