May 17, 2012

Nupas-Cadmatic has started cooperating with Sea Tech Engineering Company to represent Nupas-Cadmatic in the Povolski FD. Sea Tech is located on the outskirts of Nizhniy Novgorod, a city well known as the “The capital of Large Volga”, due to its density of shipyards, repair docks, design bureaus and the unique and unsurpassed vessels.

Since February this year, the local representation in the Povolski FD has strengthened Nupas-Cadmatic representation in Russia, lead by Nupas-Cadmatic’s joint-venture PetroNED in St. Petersburg. The cooperation with Nupas-Cadmatic will be done by Sea Tech alongside their main activities. The list of opportunities already identified is proof of the success of this way of working. The confidence in the established partnership has grown on both sides. According to Pjotr Ezhov, Sea Tech’s CEO, Nupas-Cadmatic is easy to use but above all provides great support. In the Russian market the supplier-client contact has to be swift and direct, something Nupas-Cadmatic excels in.

Sea Tech is renowned for its versatile designs. The company creates and designs vessels ranging from houseboats and cargo vessels to high speed hydrofoils and hovercrafts. Sea Tech has gained a reputation of uniqueness. It has benefited from cooperation with Norwegian Steelcad Consultants AS and Russian software specialists to create truly unique vessels and ships. Sea Tech’s diverse know-how is evident in their wide range of vessels: submarines, hydrofoils, hovercrafts, WIG’s as well as conventional ships.

The Nupas-Cadmatic and Sea Tech cooperation started after the parties met during a promotional trip through the Russian city. Nupas-Cadmatic’s trust and respect for the Russian pioneer in ship design and shipbuilding led to the signing of the partnership agreement. Both parties are committed to create synergies and to work towards the success of the partnership.
