January 7, 2013

David Dalgleish appointed Senior Sales Executive by Kort Propulsion Ltd, a UK company founded by the inventor of the Kort Nozzle.

Managing Director David Parsons said: " I am pleased to announce the appointment of David Dalgleish as Senior Sales Executive, with his 16 + years experience in the marine Industry it adds further strength to enable development and the continued growth of the business."

"Kort’s expertise as propeller and Kort nozzle specialists, means the company has an unparalleled reputation in the propulsion field. We offer packages which include detailed calculations necessary to meet specific performance criteria and we are also able to supply the complete power train, which includes prime movers, marine gears,  through to the propellers and, of course, Kort Nozzles. Naval architects and boat builders have been increasingly availing themselves of Kort’s experience especially when achieving the right balance between performance, operating economy and environmental legislation – an area which Kort’s experience allows us to excel in.
"

“In addition, David Dalgleish will be handing over seas projects which the team are currently working on in Egypt, Romania, Malaysia, and Turkey. The team will also benefit as he will be working alongside the sales team within the company. With David’s reputation and experience this will add to availability of Propulsion Packages which we are already supplying around the world.”

Kort Propulsion Ltd, a UK company with a 77-year history originally founded by Dr Ludwig Kort, who invented the nozzle that bears his name, has recently moved into the aptly named Boat House at Erith on the south bank of the River Thames.
