Burger Boat Appoint Thom Conboy Commercial Director

Burger Boat Company, celebrating its 150th anniversary, announce the appointment of Thom Conboy as its Commercial Director.

As Commercial Director, Thom will be working closely with the shipyard in Manitowoc, WI to secure new construction, refit and repair projects as well as heading its yacht brokerage and charter division at Burger Yacht Sales.

Thom's yachting career spans over 30 years. He is an avid sailor and held positions as captain, project manager, yacht builder, shipyard owner and superyacht broker. Throughout his career, Thom has been involved with the construction, sale and repair of yachts ranging in size from 15m (50') to 96m (315') in six different countries including the United States, Holland, Germany, Turkey, Canada and Italy.

Burger, at 150 years old, is one of the world's oldest and most respected shipyards. From its shipyard in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA, its craftsman have built hundreds of high quality vessels which can be found in ports around the world, including yachts, sailing ships, military vessels and steamers. Today, Burger's legacy of designing and building the finest custom luxury yachts to 260' (80m) of the highest standards continues at its fully updated shipyard on the western shores of Lake Michigan.
