US Boating Insurers SkiSafe Ratchet Up 'Sandy' Claims Response

November 6, 2012

SkiSafe Insurance has been working extensively to assist affected boaters in the region.

SkiSafe has extended its operational and online facilities to allow for fast reporting of any storm claims and to provide any support its policyholders may require.

David Strauss, President of SkiSafe Insurance, based in Lake Success, NY said: “This was an unprecedented storm for the Northeast and one from which we’ll be picking up the pieces for quite some time.”

As the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions cope with the fallout from Superstorm Sandy, SkiSafe Insurance, a national leader in boat insurance, has been working extensively to assist affected boaters in the region.

SkiSafe is encouraging all policyholders to visit online or call 1-800-225-6560 to report any claims resulting from the storm, so that adjusters may immediately begin handling their claims. SkiSafe’s Claims Department is engaging marine surveyors and salvage yards across the region to assist customers in locating, recovering, repairing or compensating for the loss of their boats and personal watercrafts.
