DP World Recognizes Kanoo Machinery

Kanoo Machinery, a member of The Kanoo Group received the DP World, UAE Region’s Top Vendor for 2013 during the awards ceremony held recently at Jebel Ali port, Dubai. This is the second consecutive year that Kanoo Machinery earned the top honor.


DP World, UAE Region organizes this annual program in recognition for top performers among its 900 suppliers for the year. The award is based on the overall contributing factors which directly influenced sales, customer-service goals, inventory and margin, among others.


Senior officials of DP World, UAE Region Mohammed Ali Ahmed, Chief Operations Officer, Esam Mohammed Khoori, Director of Procurement, and Rashed Al Mehairbi, Senior Manager-Procurement & Contracts, in presence of Iqbal Khoory ,Sr. Vice President-Global Procurement, Project Management, DP World, presented the award to Kanoo Machinery led by Bob Jennings (General Manager – GCC), together with Mogallan Bhagat (Field Sales Manager – Dubai), Praveen Hubli (Aftermarket Sales Manager – UAE) and Ahemad Sulaiman (Parts and Service Sales Representative – Dubai).


For the second successive year, Kanoo Machinery was awarded for the value added service and its exceptional performance as a top-notch vendor despite the current competitive market situation.


Bob Jennings said that the accolade reflects not only the strength of partnership they have with DP World but also the high level of innovative sales strategies and customer service efforts brought by outstanding team work of Kanoo Machinery.


He added, “Our sustained excellence is the result of our leadership approach by staying true to The Kanoo Group’s Vision, Mission, and Values”.
