Wing Inflatables Receives DLA Excellence Award

Wing Inflatables has received a gold-level award for quality and performance from the Defense and Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime for 2011. Gold is the highest level achievable.

 

The award was presented at a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency and Columbus Convention Center, in Columbus, Ohio, on June 13. The award, presented by Army Brig. Gen. Darrell K. Williams, the DLA Land and Maritime Commanding General, recognized Wing as one of the U.S. government’s best suppliers. Representatives Dave Ackroyd and Aaron Powell accepted the award on behalf of Wing. According to company president Bill Wing, “It is exciting to be recognized again for delivering superior quality product to the U.S. government,” he said. “And to achieve the highest level of recognition reflects the unsurpassed commitment and contribution of every Wing employee.”
