November 7, 2012

Seismic equipment provider Sercel adds 'SeaPro Design' software to its marine navigation portfolio.

SeaPro Design is a highly versatile tool for generating everything from simple geometry to complex designs for all types of marine surveys, whether 2D, 3D or multi-vessel seismic surveys. The software provides an enhanced graphic interface and all the advanced features needed to design surveys in a few simple clicks. Functionalities include geodetic definition, survey outline, streamer configuration, line direction and anchor point.

With the addition of SeaPro Design to its navigation portfolio, which already includes SeaPro Nav, SeaPro Bin, SeaPro Current and SeaPro Resolve, Sercel now offers users all the tools they need from survey design up to navigation data processing in the most comprehensive navigation portfolio available on the market today.

Pascal Rouiller, CEO, Sercel, said: “We are pleased to launch SeaPro Design software as a new member of our SeaPro Nav Suite. SeaPro Nav continues to prove to be the system of choice for 2D, 3D and multi-vessel marine seismic operations, with five companies and 14 vessels successfully operating with the portfolio.”
