It was accepted on behalf of CalMac by the Managing Director of David MacBrayne (HR) UK Ltd, Wendy Allardes.

It also highlights the valuable role CalMac plays in the life of the Highlands and Islands that goes beyond delivering essential ferry services.”

SUL  is part of the STUC, which first established a union learning office in Inverness in 2003, with a dedicated staff member to support unions develop union-led learning in the Highlands and Islands.
