Oceanteam appoints Leidus Bosman as New CEO

Dutch offshore services company Oceanteam ASA announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Leidus Bosman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 15 October 2018.

Diederik Legger, former Board Member of Oceanteam and acting as interim CEO since 16 May 2018 resigns per 15 October  2018. Thereafter Legger will remain connected to the Company in the role of advisor to the Board of Directors.
 
Mr. Bosman has a broad international experience in the offshore industry, among others, as part of the management of the Seafox Group and an academic background in economics.

Keesjan Cordia, Chairman of the Board of Oceanteam says: “In new and exciting times in our market, the time is right for a new leadership to successfully implement our growth strategy and take advantage of the upcoming opportunities. Mr. Bosman is an industry leader with a proven track record of execution. We are fortunate to have someone of Leidus’ calibre and experience to step up to lead Oceanteam.”
 
Cordia also thanks  Legger for his services over the last few months: “In a difficult time for the Company, Legger has been instrumental in moving Oceanteam in a positive direction and the Board praises him for those efforts and dedication”.
 
In addition,  Jos van Dijk, CFO, will leave Oceanteam with immediate effect. His tasks will be assumed by  Hendrik Hazenoot, on an interim basis.
 
The Company is comprised of two operating segments, Oceanteam Shipping and Oceanteam Solutions. Oceanteam Shipping owns, charters and manages deep-water offshore support vessels and fast support vessels. Oceanteam Solutions' focus is to provide its clients with complete offshore solutions. Oceanteam ASA has been active in the industry as an offshore solutions provider for over twelve years.
