Greene's Energy Group Names Boutwell Manager, Technology and Business Development -Rental & Products.

 

Greene’s Energy Group (GEG), a provider of integrated testing, rentals and specialty services, has named Doyle Boutwell as Manager, Technology and Business Development – Rental & Products, announced Frank Mathews, President – Rental & Products.

 

Based in Houston, Boutwell will be responsible for the management of strategic and ongoing product development, emerging technologies and related business integration. Additionally, he will assist various business units with project management.  

 

Prior to joining GEG, Boutwell served as the Director of Global Quality and Training – Tubular Running Services for Weatherford International. He holds more than 30 years of experience in the Tubular Running Services (TRS) sector of the oil and gas industry, and his experience spans from the shop floor, through the field to senior management.  

 

“Doyle’s demonstrated ability to see trends in the TRS segment of the oil and gas industry and to identify new products and services will play an integral role in keeping our finger on the pulse of the industry,” said Mathews. “He has been instrumental in the development and deployment of many of today’s standard running practices for tubular installation.”

 

Boutwell studied architecture at the University Of Southwestern Louisiana (University of Louisiana at Lafayette). He holds memberships with the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the International Association of Drilling Contractors.
