FarSounder is a sponsor for Day 2 of the 2013 American Superyacht Forum in Las Vegas, hosted by The Superyacht Group.

FarSounder, Inc. is a U.S. based high technology marine electronics manufacturer specializing in underwater acoustics, and the provision of realtime 3D sonar systems.

The workshops and exhibits at the American Superyacht Forum will run throughout the day, providing an opportunity for leading superyacht decision makers and influencers to discuss serious and sustainable business within the American market place. This interactive workshop format will offer the opportunity to explore technology options and challenges within the industry between various industry experts and the delegates.

Although many of the largest yacht projects are built in Europe, owners and operators continue to look to the US for advanced electronic systems. In addition, with the growing Expedition Yacht build market in the US, FarSounder's obstacle avoidance systems are becoming more sort after by this sector of vessels.

Now in its 11th year, the American Superyacht Forum (ASF) will open its doors for the first time in Las Vegas, Nevada. Back to back sessions will open the forum on 14 May, 2013, including a split panel discussion between owners and their respective American shipyards. Day two will take on a different format this year with four breakout rooms running intimate workshops where both speakers and delegates can get more involved throughout the sessions. With the rooms focusing on Shipyards, Systems, Operations and Machinery, delegates are able to choose which sessions are most important to them.
