June 10, 2015

The maritime passenger rights regulation entered into force on 12 December 2012. It made it possible for passengers to complain to the authorities about, for example, cancellations and delays. Until now, this has resulted in only a few complaints.

A new report shows that the authorities have received few complaints from passengers about, for example, cancellations and delays since the maritime passenger rights regulation became effective on 12 December 2012. Until now, the Danish Maritime Authority has received three complaints, only one of which gave rise to consideration.
