Dynasafe has announced  that Tom Krumpholz has been appointed as Managing Director of the newly established Dynasafe Marine Services GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, and will lead the company’s activities in the fast growing Marine Area Clearance segment.

The appointment of Krumpholz comes at a time of rapid growth in the marine sector for Dynasafe, with several recently awarded contracts in the North Sea and elsewhere. Primary drivers for Marine Area Clearance services is the energy sector; where new establishment of wind parks and pipelines for oil and gas require risk assessments, surveys and disposal, such that mines and other unexploded ordnance (UXO) can be avoided or safely removed.

With a civil engineering background, Krumpholz brings with him more than 15 years of senior management experience and expertise gained in offshore renewables and the energy industry, specifically when it comes to construction of wind parks.
