In what sounds hauntingly like a Silicon Valley initiative, Mr. Ahmed Ali Mohammad Ahmed has been selected for the position of Happiness Manager at Drydocks World.

While corporate leaders across the maritime sector routinely name the attraction and retention of employees as the number one challenge, Drydocks world has seemingly kicked this to a new level, inspired by the leadership of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Drydocks World has a 10,000+ workforce, and Mr. Ahmed Ali Mohammad Ahmed new position will channel plans to further happiness in Drydocks World, aligning and driving policies to enhance satisfaction in the company.
The happiness initiative will focus on placing people first as our most valued asset and delivering on employee engagement, welfare, events, safety, CSR and business sustainability. The Happiness Manager will be part of the core HR team, adding value and bringing happiness to everyone throughout Drydocks World.
