Cyberhawk CEO Shortlisted for EY Entrepreneur Award

May 10, 2016

Chief executive of Livingston-based Cyberhawk Innovations, Craig Roberts, has been shortlisted as a regional finalist in the 2016 EY (Ernst and Young) Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for Scotland.

Formed in 2008, Cyberhawk has grown significantly to become the world leader in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inspection and survey and in the conversion of drone captured data into powerful asset management information in the cloud.

Craig was appointed in 2012 when the company decided an experienced CEO was required to build on its progress to date, develop a growth strategy, secure funding and take the business to the next level.

During his time with the company, Craig has driven sales to four times the level of when he started and created almost 30 new jobs.  His leadership has fostered a culture of innovation, which along with achieving 25 world firsts in UAV inspection and developing iHawk, the leading cloud asset management solution for drone-captured data, has also delivered staff engagement and empowerment.

Commenting on his shortlisting, Craig said: “It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for this prestigious business accolade, and I am extremely proud to have been recognised alongside other entrepreneurs who are working hard to shape the future for Scottish business.

“Over the last few years, Cyberhawk has experienced rapid growth, both nationally and internationally, which wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated team. As a result of their commitment, innovation and client focus, we have become recognised for our high-quality technology and revolutionary services. I am looking forward to the next stages of the judging process and am excited about Cyberhawk’s future.”

A celebration of the spirit and contribution of exceptional entrepreneurs, the EY awards recognise business leaders from across the world who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses. Winners will be announced at the regional awards dinner for Scotland on 23 June.
