China's CSC Jinling Shipyard inks contract with Singapore's Asia Pacific Shipping Enterprises for four 64,000-dwt bulk carriers
Asia Pacific Shipping Enterprises, is the shipping subsidiary of Queensland Nickel Group, owned by Australian magnate Clive Palmer.
Jinling Shipyard say the four vessels will use new ship designs made for nickel ore transportation.
The newbuildings are upgraded to conform to recent global environmental regulations, and will be capable of a speed of 14.4 knots with only 24.9-ton fuel consumption per day.
Dimensions of the four ships are to be: 199.9m in length, 32.26m in breadth and 18.5m in height.
Meanwhile, Palmer Group is proceeding with the Titanic Ⅱ project at the same shipyard.
