Charleston Freight Station, a freight logistics company that has provided container freight station services for the Port of Charleston’s customers since 1995, has hired Kate Brady as logistics coordinator.

Brady will be responsible for intermodal supply chain logistics. For over 10 years, Brady has worked in shipping and transportation for Norton Lilly and Mediterranean Shipping, working to ensure that import and export cargo moves efficiently through the international supply chain. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Excelsior College, and currently lives in Mount Pleasant.

As a U.S. Customs bonded warehouse and container freight station, Charleston Freight Station offers extensive import / export services to its customers, including loose cargo transfer and breakdown, ocean import cargo, full container and LCL container services, trailer and intermodal conveyance, cargo segregation, heavy forklift service, crate disposal and fumigation, and soon, cold storage.
