Boston Whaler Awarded for Customer Satisfaction

October 22, 2014

Boston Whaler has been recognized again for its customer service, earning a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for the eleventh year in a row. One of 46 recipients nationwide to receive the award, Boston Whaler was recognized in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category during the 2014 International BoatBuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX).

The CSI Awards measure customer satisfaction, only recognizing boat and engine manufacturers that receive the highest marks. To achieve the requirements for the Marine Industry CSI Awards, Boston Whaler achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year. This score is based on information provided directly by nearly 60,000 consumers who purchased a new boat or engine during the period from April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014.

“We’re honored to be recognized with this award, and for the eleventh year straight, no less,” said Huw Bower, president of Boston Whaler. “Customer satisfaction has always been and will always be our focus. As we continue to innovate with new features, new strategies and exciting new models like the 420 Outrage, we remain driven by the end result: confident, satisfied boaters. We’re pleased to count on the support of our world-class dealer network to extend that satisfaction through to every interaction with the brand.”
