AXSMarine Releases Version 3.1 of AXSTanker

December 3, 2012

Shipping software company AXSMarine has announced the release of AXSTanker 3.1, an enhanced version of its AXSTanker product.

New options will enable Tanker brokers to access AIS and Fixtures information.

AXSTanker 3.1 is optimized to produce a great user experience, while integrating two new optional  features. The first feature is a fixture option, which offers supplementary information to users in their bottom panel. This information is proprietary to their company only, which means no other AXSTanker member can see the fixture information they enter: it is fully private. Entering and searching fixtures using the fixture module is also available in the launcher menu, including importantly optional rates and multi-grade entries. The second option is an AIS tab inside the ships register, which has also been re-enabled, allowing users to see 90 days trading history, Map and vessel trace. With AIS search, members can search on vessels in any given zones. Since they are searching on physical positions, no exclusions are required. Results contain all vessels including non-market vessels. AIS activity is also shown in DWT search results when users search their saved proformas.

AXSTanker is an exclusive membership of tanker brokerages who collectively utilize the set of up-to-date knowledge databases and high-performance professional tools designed for the specific needs of wet bulk ship broking. Several hundred individuals from 90+ wet ship brokers use the system to indicate ships positions, update tonnage, perform detailed searches, prepare carefully constructed and personalized position lists, or consult the tanker register, port database and distance table.
