Vacancy: Senior Claims Exec at Skuld Hamburg

Diversified marine insurer Skuld says it seeks a highly competent Senior Claims Executive who will join its dedicated team of claims handlers in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

  • Overall claims handling within all aspects of P&I and FD&D operations in accordance with Skuld claims guidelines
  • Take firm initiative in claims handling processes
  • Offer support to colleagues with less experience and be a role model for them
  • Build strong relationship with members and brokers
  • Promote Skuld in the market and participate in marketing efforts, seminars and events
  • Continuously monitor claims and operational performance of members and clients and ensure effective internal reporting
  • Contribute to an open, friendly and trusting working environment

Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. German is an advantage but not a requirement as long as you will agree to learn German to a reasonable conversational level within your first year with us.
