Thompson Appointed LRQA Global Sales Director

Thompson takes on new role to help LR Management Systems (LRQA) achieve continued growth by improving performance and strengthening key account management program.
 
LR Management Systems (LRQA) has appointed Jamie Thompson to the newly created role of Global Sales Director with effect from 30 September 2014.


In order to meet the demands of over 50,000 clients that LRQA serves, including many of the world's best known brands with operations spanning the globe, Thompson will play a key role in developing LRQA's sales strategy and leading capability in order to drive sales throughout LRQA's operations worldwide and deliver even greater value to clients.


Joining from Virgin Media, Thompson has previously worked for some of the world's biggest brands including Mars, Vodafone and Nestle and brings a commercial focus and strong track record of revenue growth and customer relationship management.


Thompson holds a Masters of Engineering (Electronic and Electrical) and will be drawing on his extensive experience across sales, marketing, commercial and manufacturing functions to support LRQA's strategic aims of revenue and margin growth through diversification, underpinned with his focus on building relationships with clients across the Lloyd's Register Group.

Thompson will report to Paul Graaf, LRQA Chief Operating Officer and will sit on the LRQA Executive Leadership Team.
