The newly-built 62-meter Sea Owl exits the Feadship shipyard for sea trials.

Although the official launching is not scheduled until July, her service launch offers the first daylight glimpse of Sea Owl’s signature jade mist green and oyster white colour scheme. and at the same time the stunning lines of her Andrew Winch design.

Anthony Sands (Edge Yachts) has represented them on this project from the early design phase. Speaking on behalf of his pleased clients, Sands said Sea Owl has been both a challenging and rewarding project. "We believe she is quite possibly the most customized 62-meter yacht ever built."

The owners' vision for Sea Owl called for highly modern and complex technical specifications, including an extraordinarily sophisticated security system that both yard and owner's team regard as possibly the most elaborate ever built into a yacht.

The owners are very family-oriented and this is reflected in the facilities on board for the younger generation, which range from a magical array of toys and games to a thematic decorative scheme. There are two dedicated children’s cabins on board Sea Owl as well as the owners’ stateroom and three guest suites.

The steel-hulled twin-screw motor yacht is powered by two MTU 16V4000 M53R, rated at 1520 kW at1,600 rpm.
