Sherborne Sensors New North American Ops

Sherborne Sensors Limited announced the establishment of Sherborne Sensors, Inc., a fully dedicated sales, marketing, logistics and support entity, now serving a growing number of customers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

From its offices in Mahwah (Bergen County), N.J., USA, Sherborne Sensors, Inc., is providing a number of enhanced local service offerings, including reduced product lead times and freight costs; real-time order fulfillment and applications engineering support; standard product delivery and overnight shipments; customer stock warehousing; and enhanced payment options. The establishment of Sherborne Sensors, Inc. is the culmination of 12 months of record sales growth and a series of comprehensive market analyses, to ensure that added capabilities would most closely align with present and future customer needs.

Heading up the new operations is Jesse Bonfeld, vice president of business development, a 25-year veteran of the global sensor & instrumentation, semiconductor, medical, aerospace and defense industries. Prior to joining Sherborne Sensors in 2008, Bonfeld held a series of progressive senior management and sales management roles, most recently, as Business Development Manager for Endevco Corporation. Bonfeld holds degrees in both Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, and has extensive experience in working with numerous Fortune 100 companies, as well as with all branches of the US military.
