Ranger Offshore Gains DNV Certification

Provider of offshore construction services, US-based Ranger Offshore, Inc., obtains various ISO Det Norske Veritas (DNV) certificates.

Ranger Offshore has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO/TS 29001 certifications which are ecognized as the global benchmark for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction.

Each of the certifications attests to the implementation and adherence to various processes and management systems. The ISO 9001:2008 standard addresses the effective use of a Quality Management System (QMS), while the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards relate to the processes, activities, and procedures of Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), respectively.

These management systems provide an infrastructure to facilitate improvements in processes and increases the efficiency of business operations and enhanced customer satisfaction. The ISO/TS 29001:2010 standard addresses QMS requirements to meet the specific needs of the oil and gas industries worldwide, as well as government and regulatory agencies.
