Steve Loevsky, Ports America VP operations: Auto, Ro-Ro, Cruise

Ports America issued a release stating that it has made several promotions within the company.

Ports America promoted Steve Loevsky, formerly vice president-cruise operations division, to vice president operations – auto, ro-ro and cruise. Loevsky will lead Ports America’s auto and ro-ro business, including full oversight of safety, quality and productivity.

P/L. Don Rupert, formerly VP auto, is the new vice president auto and ro-ro – commercial sales and will report directly to Loevsky.

Ken Winkler was promoted from terminal manager to general manager at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and will assume the day-to-day responsibilities.

Ports America, headquartered in New Jersey, is an independent marine terminal operator and stevedore company that currently operates in more than 42 ports and 80 locations. Ports America handles all types of cargo, including container, bulk, breakbulk, automotive, project, military and cruise.
