Pluspetrol Tenders to Sell Two 300,000 Naphtha Cargoes

May 19, 2014

Argentine oil company Pluspetrol and its partners at blocks 88 and 56 at the Camisea field in Peru are offering to sell two 300,000 barrel naphtha cargoes for delivery from June 6 to July 5 at Pisco, according to an invitation seen by Reuters on Monday.

Pluspetrol and other private companies working in Peru offer 1-2 cargoes of virgin naphtha or natural gasoline on the open market each month. The Argentine company also sells Peruvian crudes, such as Loreto and Mayna.

The company will receive bids until May 20 and they must refer to naphtha prices in Northwest Europe or Japan. Prices indexed to natural gasoline at Mont Belvieu will also be accepted.

Sellers will include Spain's Repsol, U.S. Hunt Oil, Argentina's Tecpetrol, Algeria's Sonatrach and Korean SK Innovation.
