Marine Travelift has announced the promotion of Erich Pfeifer to President and Chief Operating Officer beginning August 10, 2011. Erich Pfeifer is succeeding the company’s President and CEO for the past eight years, Steve Pfeifer. Steve Pfeifer will remain Marine Travelift’s CEO and will continue to serve the company in a strategic and advisory role.
Erich Pfeifer joined Marine Travelift in 2003 as Sales Manager and was subsequently promoted to Sales Director of the Americas and then Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. He will lead the company’s worldwide growth efforts with his deep understanding of the industry, his engineering background, and his experience and familiarity with company operations.
