Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Releases FY2014 3rd Quarter Financial Results

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries released its consolidated financial results for the first nine months of fiscal year 2014 today. The company posted a 47.9% increase in ordinary income over the same period for FY 2013, as well as a 29.9% increase in operating income. Net income, however, fell nine percent from $664.8 million to $604 million.

The company's Energy & Environment segment increased sales from $7.04 billion to $8.73 billion. The Machinery, Equipment & Infrastructure segment experienced similar growth, jumping from $6.61 billion to $7.84 billion. Net sales across all segments improved 18.6% from FY 2013.
