US Marine Diesel Engineers Sign Strategic Partnership

September 30, 2012

Trans Marine Propulsion Systems, Inc. (TMPS) join with Seattle Marine Consulting LLC to support marine diesel repair volume.

"This partnership is a win win for all," said Herbert Roeser, TMPS Chairman. Vessel owners and diesel engine operators worldwide will now have streamlined access to the expertise, knowledge base and service teams of both companies. In todays diesel world, it is hard to find the engineering experience needed to spot failures before they happen, expertise that can only be obtained from decades of hands-on experience. TMPS and Seattle Marine Consulting LLC are some of the few in the world that have this experience first-hand, from the top down."

"Together, these two companies can utilize our more than 60 years of joint engine experience on 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines and their related equipment to serve our customers the best possible way, and help them ensure proper performance of their equipment," added Jesper Th. Petersen, owner of Seattle Marine Consulting.

"One of the keys to our 28 years of success has been the ability to provide our customers with conclusive data as to why an engine or its components have failed, or are not operating to 100% of their potential," said Mr. Roeser. "This information is crucial to vessel owners and can save them millions in repairs, fuel and down time."

The partnership will provide customers with an even higher level of service, which will continue to be backed by TMPS' 28 year reputation, as well as its 1 year or 6,000 hour warranty (whichever comes first).
