Laborde Builds up Industrial Sales Team

February 25, 2013

Helping round out its industrial salesforce, Laborde Products welcomes two new salesmen.

Cody Dean will handle industrial engine and equipment sales in southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi, while Chris Wright will respond to the needs of northern Louisiana and northern Mississippi.

Dean previously served as territorial manager at Woolf-Harris.  He will provide customers with the information needed to select the best diesel engine for on/offshore operations, standby and backup generators and all diesel industrial engines for land or permanent applications.  He has a strong background within the electrical and plumbing industries.

Wright's family has been involved in the oil and gas industry for over 45 years.  He's worked on offshore platforms and has a strong background in heavy construction, welding and diesel equipment.  Wright also has over 20 years experience in marketing and advertising.

Headquartered in Covington, Louisiana, Laborde Products packages and distributes its own line of diesel-powered equipment under Diesel America.  It also distributes Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Hatz and FPT engines.
