ISS Honored by Port of Piraeus

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) Greece was honored by the Port of Piraeus Chairman and CEO, Yiorgos Anomeritis for the company’s contribution to the port’s development and its dedicated service to the Greek cruise industry.

During the inauguration of the Regal Princess, the newest Princess Cruise fleet vessel, into the Port of Piraeus, Christos Makrialeas, ISS Greece Managing Director, was awarded with a commemorative plaque from Anomeritis.

Makrialeas thanked Anomeritis for his gesture, commentIng, “It is a key duty of ISS as an agent and port user to be the “active link” between the Principal and the port, in order to achieve the highest operational excellence this sector demands, and to ensure that services are provided at the best market rates possible for the benefit of the port, the Principal and ultimately the passengers. ISS is honoured to be commended in such an unprecedented way by the port and looks forward to continuing this cooperative working relationship and seeing the port develop positively in the future.”
