Fugro Satellite has announced the appointment of Genoa based CAIM as national sales agent for the Marinestar range of navigation products and services for deep sea commercial shipping.

The product range includes the company’s high performance positioning products and services as well as the multi-function Marinestar Manoeuvring System (Marinestar MS).

In addition to its navigation and berthing functions, Marinestar MS is able to measure vessel trim fore and aft trim dynamically whilst underway at sea.

Marketing Director Haydn Jones comments: “Italy is a major ship owning nation with particular strengths in Ro-Ro Cargo, Oil Tankers and Container Shipping: all vessel types that benefit from the fuel saving trim functions and berthing functions of the Marinestar Manoeuvring System. CAIM is a very professional navigation services company, whom I personally have worked with over many years, and I am delighted that they have agreed to accept this agency appointment.”
