EBDG: Keller to Manage New Gulf Office

January 4, 2012

Elliott Bay Design Group LLC (EBDG) welcomes Keith Keller as its Gulf Office Manager for the firm’s New Orleans office, re-opening its doors in early 2012.

Getting his start at Avondale Shipyard, Keller has over 30 years experience in shipbuilding and engineering, working with various yards and design firms around the country including Marinette Marine, NASSCO, D3 Marine and most recently STX US Marine.  He will be responsible for the development of new business and project management, in addition to hiring a staff of naval architects and marine engineers for the office. “I grew up in New Orleans,” Keller said.  “I love the area and am happy to be coming home.”

EBDG’s New Orleans office will focus mainly on supporting shipyards and owners of offshore support vessels in the Gulf of Mexico.  “There is a great deal of work to be done to renew the Gulf of Mexico’s aging fleet,” Keller said. “Keith is a powerhouse,” said EBDG President, Joe Pritting.  “He joins our group to reestablish EBDG's Gulf Office and drive our sales goals through excellent client relationships.”
