Drydocks World and Maritime World, the international service provider to the shipping, maritime, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors, is a sustainable business involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility activities.

Drydocks World has a recognized CSR policy as well as an annual plan which serves as a guide towards its CSR objectives and the activities geared towards contributions to key areas encompassing workplace, marketplace, community and environment. Dubai Chamber awarded The Group with the CSR Label 2014 to acknowledge its CSR initiatives and practices.

The Dubai Chamber CSR Label program is aimed at developing a more responsible and sustainable business community in Dubai. Drydocks World & Maritime World is proud to contribute to these positive efforts.

The CSR Label program provides a free diagnostic framework, including offsite and onsite audit by Dubai Chamber that assists an organization to assess its current CSR contribution and decide how it can make further improvements as a CSR industry leader. Thus far, it has provided a financial contribution worth two million five hundred thousand UAE dirhams in support of the campaign, "UAE Water Aid", launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign is aimed to provide safe drinking water to five million people in various places around the world.    

In collaboration with National Drilling Company, Drydocks World won the ADNOC HSE Award for-“LED Lights-The Greenest and Safest Confined Space Lighting”. The company has won the British Safety Council’s prestigious Sword of Honor multiple times, which recognizes commitment to a safe work environment through safety and employee welfare record maintenance. Furthermore, from Europe Business Assembly has awarded The Group with the Socrates Award 2014 for the Best International Enterprise, in recognition of its acclaimed superiority, administrative efficiency and effectiveness, and its success in achieving sustained growth in various areas of its business.

The organization seeks to comply with international regulations, related laws, internal rules, exercise sound and fair corporate practices. The Group also strives to earn the trust of stakeholders by maintaining positive, beneficial and constructive relationship. This exemplifies the company vision and strategy through which various programs that have an impact on the key areas have been implemented.
