Donahue to Direct PwC Freight Transportation

PwC US today announced the addition of John Donahue as a director in the firm’s transportation and logistics sector within the larger Industrial Products practice. With more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of the transportation and logistics industry, Donahue will be responsible for leading the freight-related segments for the firm’s transportation and logistics engagements.

According to PwC, Donahue will help freight transportation companies implement new business strategies, models and techniques designed to systematically identify assets, hold the line on costs and improve overall operations to maximize their assets’ full potential.

Based Philadelphia, Donahue will primarily focus on companies within the freight industry, specifically Class 1 railroads, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and third-party logistics providers, among others. In his new role, he will focus on helping companies in the sector improve the utilization of their assets and operations to increase profitability and reduce costs. 

Donahue joins PwC from Computer Sciences Corporation where he was a director of freight transportation industry solutions. Prior he was a director of logistics and equipment at Hamburg Sud North America.
