His field assignments included stints in San Francisco, Calif., Portland, Ore., Chicago, Ill., New York, N.Y. and Washington D.C. in a variety of leadership positions, including serving most recently as the Coast Guard's Chief of the Traveling Inspection Staff to provide professional Marine Safety expertise and leadership to improve Coast Guard workforce proficiency and performance. "We are thrilled that Eric is joining the PVA staff team," said PVA Executive Director John Groundwater. "Eric is very familiar with the passenger vessel industry and with PVA member operations.  This knowledge and experience will immediately enhance the service and benefits that our members receive."
