China Shipyard Repairs Seven Ships

7 vessels sailed from China's CIC Boluomiao Shipyard in May 2013, on time despite prolonged heavy rain, congested quays.

Among the seven vessels were: M/V “AN PING 1” ,“HUB GRANDIOSE”, “GAS CORAL”, “XIN JIN ZHOU”, and  “WISH WAY”.

The range of projects for M/V “HUB GRANDIOSE” was quite large, with steel renewal for double bottom tanks, tank tops and fore peak tanks, but following successful ballast water tests of the repars the ship sailed on time.

The projects for M/V “GAS CORAL” included mechanical and electrical projects and docking. The yard started repairs on schedule with repairs to the main engine, generator and other machinery. Again the work was completed on time.

Repair of the M/V “AN PING 1”, included crane dismantling, mechanical and electrical projects, pipelines, as main repair projects. The yard says that in order to complete this work on time, shift work continued 24/7 to ensure that there was no delay.
